A naturalist and science communicator, she brings humour and passion to the page, weaving her own story, from her rural Lancashire childhood to finding solace in wildlife during cancer treatment, with conversations with leading figures like Chris Packham and Amy-Jane Beer. Her book Love is a Toad is both a celebration and a rallying cry for the natural world, is due to be released in March 2026.
