After a previous career in environmental science, Martin has been a professional storyteller for over twenty years. Based in Dorset, he works widely in schools and theatres offering fresh retellings of traditional tales, as well as creative storytelling workshops for national organisations. Martin has a particular passion for stories that connect people with natural landscapes and local heritage, and he is currently storyteller-in-residence for the environmental arts charity Common Ground. ​
